Approachable and down to earth I provide a non-judgemental safe space where you can talk about whatever is troubling you, no issue is too big or too small, every issue will be taken seriously and thought about with compassion and care. I respond to everyone as a unique individual, valuing diversity and difference.
About me and my practice
Talking and thinking with another can bring about a new perspective to old problems or worries and help you find new ways of approaching things. In my experience even small changes can have a very positive impact. Speaking to someone might feel a bit daunting to begin with but I find people soon settle in. This work is a real investment in self with possible benefits in many areas of your life.

Initial Consultation
Initially when you contact me, we would arrange to speak over the phone and then arrange an assessment session to discuss your needs in more detail and to decide if we would like to work together.
If we agree to work together, I offer sessions face to face at my practice in Standish, Stonehouse or on-line (Microsoft Teams). We will then meet once a week at the same time and on the same day, sessions last 50 minutes.
Face to face sessions take place on a first floor, there is no disabled access.
For on line work you will need to ensure the space you use for sessions is reasonably quiet and can be confidential.
All we discuss is completely confidential I do not share information with any other organisations, in line with both GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the ethical frameworks governing counselling work.
